“It’s off to Europe we fly, just Mom and Dad and me, on the adventure of my life! We’re going to see the big, wide world, all the way from Cape Town to Greece, through fairy-tale London and Paris, then Germany and the boot of Italy. I have my map of the earth, crayons and a plastic plane to follow our route from south to north.”
In 1973 at the age of 6, Justin Fox went on a Great Expedition / Tour of Europe with his parents – from Cape Town to London, Paris, Munich, Vienna, Rome, Athens and the Greek Islands. This is his story of the magic of travel, the experience of other places and peoples – all of which has made him one of today’s great travel writers. Beautifully and artistically illustrated by Lucy Stuart-Clark based on Fox family photographs.
